Ontario Housing and Real Estate Law

Housing should be your right, not someone else’s commodity.

Our Toronto-based Millennial and Gen Z team of lawyers and legal professionals know this all too well. That’s why we’re happy to provide residential real estate legal services to tenants and landlords seeking the best legal representation they can find to help with housing-related legal matters.

We assist with Landlord and Tenant Board reviews, Divisional Court appeals of LTB orders, and rental-related proceedings in Small Claims, Superior Court, or Bankruptcy Court.* We also provide corporate law services for housing-focused businesses and organizations, as well as environmental and municipal law services (e.g., permits, bylaws, land use) for property owners and managers.

In connection with our housing law practice, we run the LTB Whisperer blog, where we attempt to address the public’s top housing law concerns with practical advice written in plain language.

*As of October 1, 2025, with few exceptions, the firm is no longer accepting new Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) cases. We will continue to accept cases pertaining to review of an LTB order and/or appeal to Divisional Court. We also accept landlord and tenant cases in Small Claims, Superior Court, and Bankruptcy Court. For those seeking legal assistance with a new LTB matter, you may wish to contact one of the individuals listed on our paralegal referrals page.
