Ontario Housing (Landlord-Tenant) Law

Housing should be your right, not someone else’s commodity. Our Toronto-based Millennial and Gen Z team of lawyers and legal professionals know this all too well.

We assist landlords and tenants with:

  • Divisional Court appeals of LTB orders;

  • Judicial reviews of LTB orders;

  • Ontario Human Rights Tribunal (HRTO) cases;

  • Housing Co-Op Issues; and

  • Small Claims, Superior Court, and Bankruptcy Court cases.

We also assist with municipal law matters (e.g., permits, bylaws, land use) for property owners and managers, and provide corporate law services for housing-focused businesses and organizations.

In connection with our housing law practice, we write a housing law blog where we attempt to address the public’s top housing law concerns with practical advice written in plain language.

*As of October 1, 2025, with few exceptions, the firm is no longer accepting new LTB cases. We will continue to accept cases pertaining to Divisional Court appeals. We also accept landlord and tenant cases in Small Claims, Superior Court, and Bankruptcy Court. For those seeking legal assistance with LTB matters, you may wish to contact one of the individuals listed on our paralegal referrals page.
